November 26th marked another Science Day at UGent during which we opened our XR labs and shared our research insights and advancements with more than 200 visitors.

Starting bright and early in the morning people from all ages had the chance to immerse themselves in the XR content we have produced as part of our ongoing projects. It was a perfect blend of entertainment and education that left everyone with a sense of wonder.

From captivating demonstrations of our research tools to hands-on VR experiences, Science Day 2023 turned into a platform where knowledge was shared and curiosity stirred. Aleksandra Zheleva, Jonas De Bruyne, Jamil Joundi, Dennis Osei Tutu and Tina Coenen made sure to attend to each of our visitors and turn the day into an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

As we are already planning our next Science Day let’s remember to keep inspiring curiosity and ensuring that the magic of science remains within everyone’s reach.

After all, science should be an adventure for all!
